X Makes Algorithm More Transparent: What It Means for UAE Users
X is taking a new step towards greater algorithm transparency by open-sourcing the code behind its For You recommendation feed and introducing a tool that shows users labels that may affect the visibility of their posts or accounts.
The new Under the Hood tool is being introduced as a pilot. Eligible users can see visibility-impacting labels applied to their account or posts and download information about them. Accounts must be at least one year old and have posted at least 10 times during the previous month to qualify for the initial test.
